The ministry to the Lunches of Love program at Legacy helps to provide weekend food bags to students each Friday. The bags usually include ready-made snacks, meals and drinks that the students can serve to themselves. The students are provided breakfast and lunch at school during the week, but the bag helps to sustain them over the weekend.
To assist with this ministry, our church family may consider donating the individually packed food items, monetary gifts throughout the year, or assisting this ministry team packing the bags.
