“Rejoice in the Lord and be glad, you righteous; sing, all you who are upright in heart!”
Throughout the years of teaching and ministry, I often sing over and over in my head the following verse . . . “Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice! Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice! Rejoice, Rejoice! And again, I say rejoice!” Just remember the tune and the happy, peppy, music in the background!
The theme for this years’ Kid’s Ministry is Back to the Basics. The Kid’s Ministry will be focusing on the kids knowledge of the Bible, relationships to God, walk within our world, and ministry to others. While working toward these goals, we will be bringing back some of the methods of teaching the kids. One way will be learning the words to some of the songs that we might have remembered singing while growing up in church, or fun church camp songs, or during Vacation Bible School. These are songs with happy, peppy beats in the music or short statements of words of truth that will help us all remember to “Rejoice in the Lord always and be glad…!”
Soon we will be announcing when our Kid’s AM Worship Service will restart.
